Super Eagles forward, Brown Ideye has been transfered
from his Ukranian club, Dynamo Kyiv to English Premier
league outfit, West Bromwich Albion.
The transfer was worth around a fee of 10 million pounds
and the player signed on to a five year deal with a player
option of one more year.
The 25 year old striker was given West Brom's jersey
number nine and would play with Nigerian Victor
Anichebe..
West Ham's head coach Alan Irvine was visibly excited and
told the club wesite: "Brown is a quality striker and I'm
looking forward to working with him," "He's a strong, quick,
powerful player who likes to get in behind defences and
has plenty of Champions League and international
experience".
Brown Ideye formerly played with Ocean Boys football club
in the Nigerian League and also in the Switz and French
leagues.
He was one of the big names that missed the World Cup
along with Ogu and Ike Uche.
He had helped Keshi's squad to win the African Nations
Cup in January 2013.
