Impeached Speaker Thugs Attack Ebonyi FemaleLawmaker

Nnenna Nwene, a member of the Ebonyi State House of

Assembly, was on Tuesday reportedly attacked by

supporters alleged to be loyal to impeached Speaker of the

House, Hon. Chukwuma Nwazunku.

According to The Nation, Nwene was attacked while on her

way to the house of Hon. Ikechukwu Ogbu, who is an allied

of the new Speaker, Rt. Hon Helen Nwaobasi.
