Okorocha Talks APC's Alleged Connection With BokoHaram And Ekiti Elections

Imo State Governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, has come out

and denied rumuors going around in the state that the All

Progressives Congress, APC, are the ones firmly behind and

sponsoring terrorist group known as Boko Haram.

Okorocha was talking at the recently held breakfast

meeting with top APC stakeholders at his Government home

in Owerri, along with him were his political appointees.

He said: "Boko Haram has been in existence before the

formation of APC. I urge party loyalists not to allow such

rumour to distract them from the love and support they have

for the party",.

He also begged the APC to try and end their internal crisis

existing in APC in some local government areas of the state

and told the party members to try and settle their

differences so that the party could keeping on moving

forward in the state.

He said: "Let also remind you all of the need for political

appointees to have change of attitude and cultivate the

habit of sacrifice, as well as carry the people at the

grassroots along in scheme of things",.

He also gave his own insight on the recent loss by APC in

the Ekiti State gubernatorial elections saying the APC

ground leaders were not effective.

Okorocha also told the stakeholders of his optimism and

stressed that the party could win the next presidential

election.

He ended by saying: "the success or failure of APC lies in

the hands of the party members" and urged them to have a

change of attitude to enable the party achieve its objective

in the 2015 general election.

This is not the first time people have blamed APC on

financing Boko Haram, Since General Buhari was alleged to

have made the hard remarks that they will make the

country ungovernable, people have been pointing fingers at

them.
