Man Arraigned For Stealing N40 Million From His Boss In Lagos
A 38-year old man, Samson Ukpolo has been arraigned before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate’s Court for allegedly stealing N40m belonging to his boss, one Albert Uduma at Charity Road, Oko Oba in the Agege area of Lagos. Ukpolo who was charged on two counts of stealing was said to have committed the crime in connivance with other suspects still at large.

The charges read in part, “That you, Samson Ukpolo, and others at large, between the months of January and August 2013, at Charity Road, Oko Oba, Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did conspire among yourselves to commit felony to wit; stealing.
“That you did steal N40m property of Albert Uduma.”
The police prosecutor, Richard Odige, said the offence was punishable under sections 409 and 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2011.
However, the defence counsel, Ola Ogunbiyi, pleaded for bail in liberal terms.
The Chief Magistrate, E.B. Daodu granted bail in the sum of N1m with two sureties in like sum.
The case has been adjourned till October 22, 2014.
