PDP Reacts To Atiku's Accusation

The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said the All

Progressive Congress (APC) is a party of selfish, religious

and ethnic bigots pursuing a Janjaweed ideology.

Reacting to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar's

statement who warned the PDP against pointing accusing

fingers at APC as a means of diverting the attention of

Nigerians from bad governance, the ruling party accused

the APC and it's leaders of being bitter because they have

been exposed for who they are despite their personal

threats, media attacks and character assassination to

slander the PDP.

In statement by PDP's National Publicity Secretary, Olisa

Metuh, the party claimed the opposition are in pains

because Nigerians are now aware that they have no

agenda but are rather a platform for selfish individuals

pursuing personal and parochial agenda using blackmail,

propaganda and promotion of violence as means to achieve

political control.
